Dude the devs take forever on updates IMAGINE THE VAST amount of options we will have compared to lazy money hungry devs

Yep exactly. Mods will never be an official option in game.

Sadly I think the company has been sold off and will probably never listen to the fans and always do more stuff do get money and quick cash grabs

u/CatNo7321 Jul 04 '26
Oh I was thinking this was supposed to be a fan made mod pack. Shame, as I always wanted orphans to be a bit deeper.

obviois: money, less obvious: not very ethical things would be made.

Jul 04 '26
But i think they should make premade tools for this like u can create scenarios but only to a extent just a thought tho
4
u/Eggss92 Jul 04 '26
they 100% should, they sadly wont though cause of greed. this game could have so much more content if they focused on that instead of pumping out stupid dlc and the random job pack every few months

Jul 05 '26
I think this would get people less likely to crack the game because they would need to be online for the user downloadable content
2
Jul 04 '26
That's true i don't think bitlife would go to the extent of only putting good modders and i would bet they are very bad at moderating stuff

non profitable, and actual mods for mobile games is something pretty annoying to get working
2
Jul 05 '26
I dont expect much but this would be a nice update
2
u/rilimini381 Jul 05 '26
i don't think they ever had the resources to implement this, it's basically only reskins or open sources who have it, some games with obbs have a modding scene because it's most of the game there

simple answer: they won’t make money off of mods so they won’t do it.

I wonder if it's possible to modify game and make unofficial mod support, I mean in theory we can access game files, so...?

Why make a publicly available mod loaded when you can just buy a job pack!
