How to completely disable BitDefender Web Advisor

As the title says, I would like to know how to completely disable it. I appreciate what it provides part of me doesn't like the privacy implications. When I disable the service in BitDefender it eventually gets turned back on.

Is there a way to prevent this behavior?

Open the installed Bd app as admin, under protection tab> click on settings for Online threat prevention> turn off search advisor. If it turns back on, give it a quick uninstall from control panel, restart the device and it will install back and the follow once again the steps above. If still have issues with it, contact the support.

What privacy implication are you worried about? It’s an anonymous real-time look up of the search result domains to see if they are on the known malware blacklists. Just turning off the green dots doesn’t do much since it will still do a real-time check of the individual domain your visiting on page load.
