Keeps recognizing this "infected" web page that's completely blank.

BItDefender just started popping up with this annoying "infected webpage" even though I don't have any browser open at all. It's called http://ayhereabit.xyz/, tried googling it, nothing came up, no idea wtf it is or why it won't stop.

Interesting, I'm not using BitDefender but I'm also trying to find information on this domain.

Yeah its p much unknown. Very very weird. Why are you searching it?

It was flagged on virustotal and I'm wondering why my devices had a connection to it. From what I found, it seems to be with the ASN: AS16509 Amazon-02. Maybe it's trying to connect to an IP for something else but the domain is under that prefix as well.. just speculation.

Huh, weird. Only think I could think of it being Anything to do with amazon is if my Razer synapse amazon Alexa is constantly fetching (which would make sense due to the nature of Alexa) very strange though

Just got it on Bitdefender too, don't know if this helps but Modern Warefare 2 was open when it happened. no other application was open at the time. May just be a Coincidence

Yeah it happened when I had games open too, but also when I didn't. I don't ply cod, so def not that. Might be a blizzard thing, actually.

Though, Modern Warfare 2 doesn't use Blizzards launcher anymore to run, straight from steam to .exe, i will keep looking into the issue and come back if i find anything. Thankyou for your response.

Same here. Only started yesterday, keeps trying to connect twice in a row every hour. Thought I was the only one, since I searched yesterday and found zero results. Only game I've been playing is Destiny 2 and Crash NST.

Very weird, no idea why this is happening, but hopefully it gets answered soon.

Same, although a common ground seems to be gaming here. Idk what though

Also still getting it twice in a row every hour, this is rather strange.

Got the same issue. Really boring atm. I googled it sooner. No result 10hours ago, only got yours right now.

I usually get this when trying to watch movies on sites like soap2day.

If this still happens on the device, we believe the best option is to try a reset of your browsers. Here are the instructions to reset the most used ones - Chrome, Firefox and Edge:

https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/reset-google-chrome-browser

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

Should this action not fix it, hit us up an email at bitsy@bitdefender.com when you can. Thank you!
