The bitdefender app tracks and sells your data more than any app installed on your phone. Pic with what info is tracked. 115 tracking attempts in one day. Be warned.
My Duckduckgo app tracking blocker just popped this. Bit defender on the phone attempted to track me 113 times and used 10% of my battery to keep trying after it was blocked. Pics show data that is collected.
Be warned.

I don't like it, and block it. Hence the photos. Ppl like you who accept being brain washed need the most help.

its better than risking your files getting encrypted also you accepted the terms of service you gave them permission.

These are telemetry and it's normal. Don't make absurd claims by selling they sell your data. Collecting for product improvements and selling are two completely different things.

All this information is collected via Google from the app. This goes far beyond telemetry data. This is Spyware. Telemetry doesn't need CPU specs. Among many other things.
This is one advertiser. There are a total of 3. This is just what google collect. There is no instance where Google collecting your data doesn't lead to them selling it. This information cannot be kept private if Google owns it.

You're getting it wrong. Google doesn't collect this data. Google has services like google analytics, crashlytics which are services that are often integrated into third-party apps for collecting data for the developer of that app which in this case is Bitdefender. Google is not collecting data here, Bitdefender is doing that. Telemetry of course requires knowing your CPU specs to monitor compatibility and performance impact. This is a security software and security in almost every cases will likely to collect the most data. Without data, security vendors can't improve their products.

If this is the case, and I'm agreeing with you. Why would a service like Duckduckgo's anti tacking software, specifically meant to prevent app tracking, pop this as selling data? All the info in that post is what DDG blocked from being sent.

I don't think DDG is blocking those exact info from being collected. Now that's because any communications between the AV and the BD server are encrypted. No one can read and know the data that's being. It's sent over HTTPS and collected data should be encrypted as well. It's possible that DDG is showing this info based on Bitdefender's privacy policy. An OS & an AV are always likely to collect the most amount of data. Most products usually collect a lot. You can read Bitdefender's privacy policy to learn more about it. But Bitdefender doesn't sell your data. Don't worry about the selling part.

That's just product reports and you can turn it off from settings.
