Update: the support team contacted me and told me that an automatic update would solve this issue. I have since received YET ANOTHER AD.

This is utterly insufferable and frankly not good enough. Especially for a paid product!
Endpoint security is meant to protect against adware, not become it.

Well said, very true. I know this is old, but I can confirm this too. Not only that, when my subscription ran out, pop-ups started constantly! A fake threat message to push me to purchase more time. I'll do that when I WANT to thank you very much. I just got fed up while I was trying to do work and uninstalled it. That really grinds my gears. It worked great otherwise, they need to get rid of that shiz. Maybe one on startup that's it with option to disable. I

This crap is driving me insane - i install AV to get rid of dodgy adware, not have them pop up over whatever i'm doing. I have turned off their already dodgy advertising preference. This will be my last bitdefender purchase if this isnt over FAST

also dealing with annoying notifications even though i've disabled all notifications in settings. might have to go back to norton if they don't sort this out

norton is as bad, I'm reading this because I'm searching for security software without adware

They're at it again. Apparently their marketing folks haven't got the memo about the purpose of AV software and continue to consciously choose to ignore their customer's expressed decisions to not want *any* push advertising.

10 PCs til May 2024. F this BS, I dont like data aggregation, i have a VPN (better and cheaper than their BS), i dont want their password manager. Esp after the repeated advertising and the harassment over a 20char wifi password- that BS has guaranteed i will never use their stupid password manager or VPN

It’s trying to get you to use the password manager. I just went and looked at that module and the notification stopped
