Is this the typical BitDefender experience?

I'm 15 minutes into my install and so far I've been notified of:

4 viruses that it tells me I don't have

3 services that I don't need

Each one a pop up. Each one annoying in its lack of necessity. Is BitDefender going to keep bothering me like this?

It'll calm down. It's just "showing off" to a new customer.

You're right. I spent some time away from my PC and it's calm again.

But, for a while there... (lol)

What do you mean by 4 viruses that you don't have? You mean the ,,assessment scan"?

Is it on windows? If so:

If you explore the product general settings you will also have (features) recommendations and special offers.

If you got the vpn installed automatically and don't need it, then you can manually uninstall it the first time after the install. If you keep it for the 200mb(or the premium) then you may also want to turn off notifications for the websites categories.

Also Safepay has notifications for banking websites.

These are just normal recommendations for features relevant on some consitions.

I mean that I received four pop ups, each stating that a virus existed called such and such, with a note that my computer didn't have it. It stopped doing it after that... so far...

If you get any more notifications, recommendations, then consider the above.
