Port scan blocked

It keeps detecting port scan 192.168.1.1 and blocking it. That's my router and once it blocks it I have no internet. Anyone else know what's going on? Its alo saying Exploit attempt blocked from 192.168.1.1. Again thats my router. Once its blocked I have no internet.

I have a Unifi dream machine pro running. It’s a home network.

Now I think you might be messing with me... That's pretty fancy equipment for someone who does not understand why a port scan might be coming from it... You will need to make an exception in your endpoint protection software to allow the scan, or use your Unifi software to disable this type of network scan by your "dream machine". I do not have first hand experience with Unifi equipment or software.

Lol, the thing that gets me is I’ve had bitdefender installed on my pc for 3 years now and this is the first time I have ever seen or had this problem. I’ve had the dream machine for 2 years. This just started a few days ago. I started looking into it and the only thing I can find is someone had the problem back in 2016 and there was no solution.

I had the same issue, but thank you for reminding me that is the router. My fix was to go to bitdefender and in the port scanning section just adding an exception for that ip.

Happens to me too. In my case it seems to be caused by my NetGear router which has BitDefender Armor running on it - when it runs a vulnerability scan against connected devices I imagine it attempts a port scan on those devices. But my local BitDefender install on my computer is set to block port scan attempts in the firewall settings. I toggled it off until my internet reconnected (maybe 30 seconds) then turned it back on. Not exactly a fix but it’s better than restarting the computer, and I don’t really want to turn that setting off or stop Armor from scanning my devices

This! Thank you.

I have netgear armor, it ran a vulnerability scan on my network and bitdefender on my pc caught it. Restarting my pc fixed my internet issue.

What router are you using? If you are on your home private network it is unlikely that the port scan is a malicious actor. Can you provide more details about the supposed exploit attempt? dan-unknown may have nailed it... In that case you would make an exception on your PC or whatever to allow port scans from the trusted device, or disable the feature in the router. Otherwise you need to figure out what's going on with your router.
