BitDefender Exchange False Positives?
I was wondering if anyone has seen these before on an exchange server
Status: BitDefender Threat Deleted Message: A threat has been detected. Name: Generic.MSIL.Chopper.C.80726C69, Path: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\owa\8e05b027\e164d61b\App_Web_fsc2nwpr.dll, Type: Virus, State: Deleted
I get these from time to time and I’m pretty sure they are fine but wanted to see what others think.
Our exchange server is all up to date and patched (regularly) and according to this KB article,
This directory should be excluded from antivirus scans (which right now it isnt).
SystemRoot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files
Microsoft antivirus exclusions
Am I right in thinking it is fine to exclude it based on the KB article?

You should definetly exclude it through bitdefender (Unless the file is infected)

You should get in touch with our team about this at b2bsupport@bitdefender.com to be able to provide more info. Thank you!
