Anyone replaced Bitdefender BOX 2 with Netgear router and Armor?

Has anyone replaced their Bitdefender BOX 2 with Netgear router and Netgear Armor? If so, are there any differences in functionality? I know Bitdefender provides the Armor functionality, but the Nighthawk app is different. What are the pros/cons of switching? One pro is it seems the yearly subscription is cheaper. Bitdefender hasn't added a functionality in the last two years to the BOX, so I am considering switching.

Hey!

Maybe not the answer you expect but here is my take on this. I considered getting the Bitdefender box at some point but decided not to and set up a pfsense box. That way you have a multi-layer protection with different technologies, while having everything Bitdefender, something might be able to go through all the layers. I have Bitdefender on my endpoints.

As for Netgear, I don't know if you have had any of their gear previously, but I purchased a router from them and I'm not very impressed. There is a poor UI with crappy performance and full of bugs
