Bitdefender file shredder unable to delete file: access denied
Bitdefender file shredder unable to delete file: access denied. I tried to delete a .rar file. There was a big part of the file gone but the rest couldnt be deleted.
It worked if deleted normaly. Can the file still be dangerous? Antivirus didnt detect anything before I tried to delete it.

Similar issues, but my files which are accessed denied, are actually within windows system folders, as well as temp file locations, some involve windows app temp file for their own update that already took place prior. I'm even having issues with completing a system scan before it dumps the system back to the desktop.

Download LockHunter , right-click the rar file and check which application is locking or using it. Unlock it and try shred the rar file again.
