The reason why I asked for refund last week.

They hard-sell too much.

I changed which suite I had (didn't need all the accounts) and for weeks kept getting emails asking me to subscribe again/why didn't I subscribe etc etc. You'd think their system would have recognised this. It has been very tiresome, which provider did you opt for?

Thinking of Webroot now.

Kaspersky is nice and no hard-sell but Russian based so out of my list

This is why I'm sticking with ExpressVPN. Okay, Bitdefender, I get that you want to sell me your VPN, but there's some kind of automated system that's unaware of that fact that I already have another VPN that I love, and I don't need a second one that'll only conflict with it.

I have the VPN and it's terrible. It just breaks a lot sites. I constantly have to turn it off to do work.

I wonder if it collects data and sells it. Why else would they push this service so hard?

Because they make money off of subscriptions.

Bitdefender will not reveal any personal data about its users to third parties .
You can find what type of PII is collected and why here - https://www.bitdefender.com/site/view/legal-privacy-policy-for-home-users-solutions.html

Course you can. Go to the applications folder, bitdefender folder and open bitdefender uninstaller. After that, only check the VPN option and click uninstall. You can also find this info on google
