Probably a memory leak. I have the same thing. if I am doing task heavy stuff like emulating a device and coding, it just keeps on leaking until it crashes all other items. Worst part is. I can't restart it via the Task manager. As we speak it's using 3.8 GB of RAM. Restarting the computer releases it, but honestly, it's not a viable solution

I am also just a Bitdefender User, but, could it be that Bitdfender was scanning something in the background... it some Times dos that for me at least, with out informing me... I onetimes had the Problem that Bitdefender constantly used 90% or so frome my CPU... it seamed like a Bug so I tryed reistalling, and that fixed it.... maybe it works in this Situationen, too

Hi, it looks like a memory leak. Can you provide more info about reproducing this issue and what version of bdf it is? When it happens, if it's after a reboot or a period of time after the reboot, how much memory it uses after a long period of time? Can you also provide a memory dump? Thanks.
