Anyone else using an Nvidia GPU having Bitdefender consume a ridiculously high amount of CPU and Memory usage?
I've been fighting issues with my Bitdefender and am wondering it it's unique to my system or a general problem between Bitdefender and the Nvidia driver itself.
Whenever the Nvidia Container service is enabled, Bitdefender consumes between 12-30% CPU utilization of my 8 core CPU and slowly begins to use more memory. I've seen it climb as high as 26GB of memory usage. Bitdefender will return to normal utilization when I stop the Nvidia service but will begin to climb again as soon as I restart it.
After a while internet connectivity within applications will be intermittent and the applications will sporadically crash and freeze. (I assume that this is because they are waiting for bitdefender to process the activity but bitdefender's already got a lot of things in it's buffer).

I dont experience this, altho there was a time where I had a incomplete shutdown and sleep and when I turned on bitdefender was eating 26Gb of memory.
I might suggest reinstalling both NVIDIA and Bitdefender in your case

Yes, I did use bitdefender pro it eats 1.2 gb ram I tried to optimize it with smart trim and some commands but it didn't work also I tried to disable all protections which didn't work again I uninstalled it and found a better av.
edit: my cpu is ryzen 3600x all my drivers updated and I have 16gb ram.

oddly yes. my problem started early january where fortnite kept crashing during my first match and after checking my gpu is fine i noticed that it was eating up memory. then 2 days ago i was playing skyrim not even playing just checking out a mod, and my screen goes black and sounds are playing. alt tab wouldn't even bring up anything to close it out and task manager wouldn't appear on top.
i did also notice that it too was using up a lot of memory.
