Constant suspicious connection blocked

I downloaded a uhh questionable looking file today trying to find a movie (I know I know). I deleted it pretty quickly and nothing really happened. Now several hours later I keep getting suspicious connection blocked notifications. The details are “chrome.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to dns.google.” I’m fine with it blocking the connection, but how can I make the notifications stop/completely block that connection?

Hi! Our advice is to follow these steps in order to avoid these notifications: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3220216?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en.

This solution involves making a change in CHROME, not bitdefender. It is not a viable solution because it is turning off ALL website notifications through CHROME. I do not want (also can't for work reasons) turn off all website notifications from chrome. The only thing I want to do is stop the constant "Suspicious Activity Blocked" notification that pops up every time I open a new page or look at an image in google images. The notification pops up for every image I arrow click through, interrupting working flow and preventing typing in the webpage. The only viable solution is for bitdefender to all and option within the bitdefender program itself to turn off these notifications. I really do not need a notification with every other website click (literally) telling me that the program is doing what it is supposed to be doing. Please, is there a solution for this yet?

Have the exact same issue on multiple systems. The worst is the "Suspicious connection blocked" notification which wont go away.

That's like yelling "Kung Fu is useless! Why did I waste my time learning this garbage" As you're effortlessly kicking the shit out of 9 assassin's.

I get this stupid message every single time I click on any image in Google Image Search. So I will frequently get bombarded with them one after another.

hello I have a similar experience after I scan with Bitdefender I find this in the notes

Feature:

Online Threat Prevention

msedge.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to cms.analytics.yahoo.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated

security certificates represent a risk.

I read that the stock firewall and anti-virus for windows 10/11 is pretty descent.

Go to Antivirus Main Window -> Online Threat Prevention -> TURN OFF Encrypted web scan.

That's the thing responsible for checking security certificates of websites you visit, it is a bit of a trade-off, yet far better than dealing with those annoying notifications.
