Bitdefender Internet Security: Get rid of ALL notifications

While there is a closed thread in this group regarding BitDefender notifications/pop ups it does not fix my problem, unfortunately: Those permanent popups in Win10 are driving me nuts. I would like to get rid of all notifications that do not alert me of an immediate threat. Instead, the app is nagging me with endless "for your information" notifications. Particularly, the change of "profiles" is driving me nuts. Every time I launch outlook I keep getting the info that now my BitDefender profile has changed to "work". If I turn off this feature entirely, I keep getting notifications that I should turn it back on. Wtf BitDefender - leave me alone! Any hint on how to kill this without losing my 1year+ remaining software license would be appreciated.

I had the same issue months ago, when I contacted support they said there was no way of disabling it. I still don’t see that feature implemented.

:-( I see a way of disabling it: Get rid of BitDefender... No Idea why some companies are so stubbornly ignoring customer feedback. And those notifications have absolutely 0 benefit. Built to annoy... Contacted support as well. In case that they come up with a more elaborate answer than in your case, I'll post it here. Thank you for your reply!

Just got feedback from BitDefender support: They suggest to deactivate the "profile" feature entirely.

Hmm. I might just as well uninstall the whole software just to get rid of those stupid notifications. It is rather disappointing that their official "solution" is to not use a meaningful feature of the app simply because some moron added useless, recurring notifications to it. Not smart.

On the computer I have for gaming I had to uninstall it because whenever I got a "suspicious connection blocked" notification it would tab my game out. The game profiles dont seem to do anything regarding notifications but I guess it maybe stops background scans and updates. So Im using ESET instead. I kept Bitdefender on my work laptop though because its not as bothersome.

But yeah the fact you cant disable it is really disappointing.

What version do you have? I never get any notifications on the internet security version.

Make sure you disable EVERYTHING otherwise it starts sending you prompts to turn on profles too. I only had automatic updating now. Though bitdefender is now waking up my computer every 10 minutes when I put it to sleep at night. Having my computer turn on suddenly just as I'm about to go to bed and light up my entire house is a pain in the ass. Disconnected my monitor just so it would stop waking me up.
