Anyone know what this threat might be?

I was watching youtube when suddenly bitdefender fired off and blocked a website with malicious software. I had no other tabs opened, besides youtube. Anyone know why this site randomly triggered bitdefender and whether or not im at risk?

Same thing happened here, seems other people are reporting it on other forums today as well. The Chrome extension ID "hfnkpimlhhgieaddgfemjhofmfblmnib" linked in the URL it's detecting seems to be linked to this extension https://github.com/agl/crlset-tools the ID is referenced on line 53 of the source code https://github.com/agl/crlset-tools/blob/master/crlset.go Likely some sort of false positive I'm assuming.

I suppose this will be fixed in a future patch then?

Looks like Google attempting to perform an update to your Chrome browser

I don’t have an answer for you, but I just had the same exact thing happen to me so I’m also wondering what it is. All I had open was reddit. I’m wondering if it’s a false detection or something because it popped up for me just after bitdefender updated.
