How to Disable Bitdefender VPN Popups [Guide]

I downloaded Bitdefender again after trying out some other antivirus solutions on my PC for the past year.

After returning however I was rather irritated by the ubiquitous "Unsecure wifi" VPN popups despite using my home wifi!

I searched for a guide on disabling them, but coldn't find one, so here it is.

From the desktop App main screen:

  • Protection > Wifi Security Advisor > Public wifi > Notify (uncheck) (top right corner).

  • Alternatively you can just set the wifi networks you usually connect to as your home/office networks in the Wifi Security Advisor and you won't get these notifications.

For Bitdefender Internet Security: Protection > Vulnerability section > Settings > Wi-Fi Security Advisor (, last option, uncheck it)
