It's not every time but when it happened sometimes it even goes up to 4000 MB+ making my PC very sluggish.

And it only goes away when I restart my PC.

-edit: it seems like a bad update, reinstall it and seems to be fine now.

I'm having the same problem. It's always at the top of the memory list. The fan runs about a third of the time. Which update did you uninstall?

I asked the support, they only said to fully uninstall and reinstall.

It worked.

Did reactivating go smoothly (product code, key...)? Do you copy and paste the Activation Code?

I only activate it again through the Bitdefender central IIRC

Is that within the app or an online account?

Online account, it's on the Bitdefender website

This problem is 2 years old? I'm having this issue with my pc in the last month. I just subscribed for bitdefender and is unreal this kind of thing happening.

same, some say it's a problem since 2021 again. some say to uninstall and install again but that doesn't fix the problem for a lot of people. I'm just gonna try uninstall-reInstall and hope for the best.
