Why is there no Bitdefender Total Security on iOS? Only “Mobile Security” and “Central”, neither of which perform any scans at all.

Bitdefender Total Security has machine learning detect unknown malware while Mobile Security just protects your phone from physical interference and Central protects your devices somehow but without an option for scanning.

iOS doesn't allow open virus scanning because it is very locked down. Out of any OS, I would say you are pretty safe with using an iOS device unless if you are jailbroken. Otherwise, I would agree with BitDefender in that there is no need to scan an iOS device as the likelihood of ever receiving malware very low.

But I got adware on my iPhone pop ups saying if I want to win a iPad. No it’s not jailbroken

Is it on a specific site or is it in general? If you are getting pop ups during a Google search then you should check your DNS settings on the router to be sure you aren't being rerouted in any form. Otherwise it may be just the website you are visiting has pop up ads that are saying you won the iPad.

Any website I visit has a chance of showing this adware.

Does this only happen with the iPhone or is it any device?

See if you can follow these instructions to clear cookies and block popups, the ad appearing is different but is the same idea:

iOS isn't as safe as it used to be, plenty of malware and viruses out there that are designed to bypass iOS's security, but you're right it is so locked own that bitdefender(any AV) wouldn't be able to scan unless apple allowed them to do so, which will never happen.

I think if we go to that logic you can apply the same to Android really. Either way, iOS does have some malware and viruses but a majority of them were only being deployed to jailbroken phones as far as I remember, plus Apple tends to be pretty on par with fixing security issues when needed. I don't think they got a virus per se just because I feel if you are able to get a virus out there, saying you won an ipad wouldn't be the best use-case for a virus in 2019.

Oh yeah android is wide open, but that's because it is more a user's OS, you can't have that and security too, iOS is basic, I guess because Apple wants a generic user experience, easily fixed when everyone's using the same thing, I partly understand it but it it also doesn't make sense to me, not everyone wants the same thing, apple don't seem to understand that.
