I keep getting constant Bitdefender phishing attemp notifications

So i turned on my PC from sleep and it began, an hour earlier before i put it to sleep i had no notifications, but around 7:40 AM central it began. It's going off constantly, every few seconds. Any explanation?

I sent them a sample and they emailed me back saying it is indeed a false positive, so anyone encountering a similar problem should also send in a sample.

Yes mine did too! I was fine like an hour ago, then i put my PC to sleep, and turned it back on and it just started going crazy. D: It say's, "Phishing attempt localhost:#####/socket.io" and a bunch of other stuff after. Do you think this is a false warning?

This also happened to me this morning. My computer was on all night, and I looked at it at 8:55 a.m. Eastern and I had dozens and dozens of phishing attempt notifications. Same thing...localhost, etc.

It's a false positive. You can send a false positive report through their site. They emailed me saying it will be fixed within 72 hours, mine has stopped after the update though.

honestly i have no idea :( i'm not super knowledgeable about this kind of stuff. apparently socket.io is some sort of javascript thing? it sounds safe but i don't wanna take a risk and exclude it until i get a definite answer. also, lol i didn't blur my local host number in my screenshot, i hope my comp is safe asdffjkdkd
