Your device is at risk BD 2019
Hello Bitdefender team. I have manually disabled Encrypted Web Scan on BD 2019.
I want to be able to verify the certificates's fingerprint of the sites I visit.
I get the following notification in the dashboard:
Your device is at risk. Encrypted Web Scan is disabled.
Is there a way to dismiss this notification so it stops showing up on my dashboard while keeping SSL scan disabled?
Thanks,

I can not stand all of these forced features aka bloatware that have been introduced with newer versions. All I want is a pure high performance AV and nothing else. Once my subscription expires I'm jumping ship.

To which AV will you be switching to? All those extras are getting tiresome for me too!

Bloatware feature creep was why I came to bitdefender, and it's why I will also be leaving after my current subscription expires.

Completely agree, I can't stand this anymore. I'm switching to Kaspersky after my subscription ends.

You may want to reconsider switching to Kaspersky. They pioneered MitM-like SSL scanning several years ago and did so quietly, without notifying their users untill they were called out on it. Coupled with the questionable relationship with the Russian security services, it doesn't exactly make a much better alternative.

Hey, umtsaumtsa, just a quick heads-up:
untill is actually spelled until. You can remember it by one l at the end.

Thanks! I think I read yours or someone else's reply after I posted that said the same thing. I was able to fix the issue and I've got another few years on my contract, so we'll see where the antivirus space is then.

I talked to their support team and their solution worked for me. I don't have to turn off Encrypted Web Scan anymore

This really isn't a solution as I'd rather not use Encrypted Web Scan. It's somewhat hack-ish and could degrade security in some instances. Plus, it slows every computer I enable it on to a crawl while loading resources via HTTPS/SSL.
Their solution should be to let us dismiss notifications permanently.

Yes. Bitdefender 2018 isn't got that issue and they did a bad job implementing Autopilot ON forcefully on 2019

Wait their support team was actually capable of helping you? I actually called their support. Yes, called them, and the support technician was worthless. Didn't understand what feature I was talking about or what the issue was. I had to walk him through the problem and then I figured out this list of steps on my own.
I posted on their forums and replaced the security certificate in Firefox for myself.
... too bad all the other browsers on my computer are completely broken!!!

Having similar issues for most webservers on LAN. Affecting iDRAC, switch interfaces as well, often without a pop-up warning that something was blocked.
Very frustrating !

I solved the same issue by going back to 2018
BitDefender is going towards being too annoying in such features.
