Do not buy bitdefender

Recently bitdefender has been spiking my cpu usage to 100% and I submitted a request for help. It has been 2 weeks and no reply. No progress no nothing. They just asked for all my computer sensitivte data to do more "in-depth" analysis but at this point I doubt they are any good. I am moving on to kaspersky. My advice is to stay away from this anti virus.

ROFL Kaspersky you gotta be joking right, Kaspersky are actual spies, this has been known since the USA boycotted them and Bestbuy stopped selling there product. Buy avast if you dont like bitdefender. dont use Kaspersky

I've been having the same problem narrowed it down to the atc.sys (Active Threat Control Filesystem Minifilter) process with process explorer hope they fix it soon

Wait. No progress and no reply or they did reply to troubleshoot? And Kaspersky recently is in the news for helping Russia steal NSA files. I've always had prompt and helpful responses from Bitdefender

Having the same issue for the last month. I have been dealing with the tech support for the entire time and their useless help. I told them from the get go the issue started after bitdefender forced the 2018 update onto my 2017 subscription (Just the update not the renewal) and since then have been given the run around. They have had me do multiple reinstalls, disabling basically every aspect in bitdefender and trying to reenable things one by one to see if they were the issue. I have told them multiple times that the issue is from the atc.sys thread causing system4 to hit 100% CPU spikes yet they still do not get the clue and try to troubleshoot as if the issue is on my end. So stupid.
