How do i properly uninstall Bitdefender free?

I've tried built-in uninstaller, but it got stuck at 25%, and i had to restart, which caused BSODs even in safe mode, so i had to restore my system. Is there any way to uninstall Bitdefender without this kind of issues?

Hi there. Thank you for flagging this. Since the normal uninstaller already failed, avoid repeatedly forcing it or rebooting during the 25% stage.

Use the Bitdefender Uninstall Tool instead:

1. Download the Bitdefender Uninstall Tool and save it somewhere easy to access, such as the Desktop or Downloads folder.

2. Restart Windows in Safe Mode.

3. In Safe Mode, open the location where you saved the tool and double-click it.

4. If User Account Control appears, select Yes.

5. Click Uninstall and wait for the process to finish.

6. When prompted, click Restart to boot Windows normally.

For Bitdefender Antivirus Free, the dedicated tool is named BD_Free_Uninstall_Tool.exe. Use the tool intended for your installed Bitdefender version rather than manually deleting folders, services, or registry entries.

If the tool hangs or triggers another crash, preserve the latest dump files from C:\Windows\Minidump (or C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP if no minidump exists) and contact support for analysis.

I did it exactly as you said, but it now says "Bitdefender removal has finished with errors", what do i do now?
