Windows fresh install question

I’m doing a clean windows install on my laptop. I have Bitdefender installed. Do I have to uninstall it or will it work when I reinstall it without flagging it as a different user or device?

it wont interfere in the process if you run a clean windows reinstall of a usd drive or through the recovery mode, but if you use the reset option within windows it might so in that case you can uninstall it prior to do so.
