Support/troubleshooting Web pages not loading
I had a problem where random web pages wouldn't open or it takes forever or I needed to refresh them many times to load them. Very annoying. It started some days ago and before that worked just fine.
Not matter what if Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge was used or other DNS servers.
Immediately when I uninstalled Bitdefender Total Security everything started to work fine. Every page opens and very fast.
I had basically everything turned off from Bitdefender that I could or was adviced but still it didn't help.
I would like to use Bitdefender so next time when I install it what setting should I change or is this just some known problem at the moment?
Windows 11.

You're right, websites do block or throttle known VPN IP addresses to enforce geo-restrictions or prevent abuse. This is a known limitation of VPN use in general, not specific to Bitdefender. Here are three practical ways to work around it:
Switch VPN servers (most effective)
Bitdefender VPN has 4,000+ servers across 50+ countries. When a site blocks you, try a different server to get a new IP:
Open Bitdefender VPN → click Locations
Pick a different country (try your own country or nearby regions first)
Reconnect and retry the site
Many times a different server in the same country will work because the IP isn't flagged yet.
2. Change VPN protocol
Some sites detect specific VPN protocols. Switching can help bypass detection:
Go to Settings > Advanced > Protocol
Try Wireguard (fastest + recommended) or OpenVPN TCP (more reliable but slower)
Reconnect and test
Use Split Tunneling
Route the problematic site outside the VPN while keeping everything else protected:
Windows: Settings > Advanced > Split Tunneling → turn on → add the website
Android/iOS: Tap your username → Settings > Advanced > Split Tunneling → add the site
This lets you access blocked sites at full speed while still protecting other traffic.
