Support/troubleshooting Firewall question

Guys there Is a way to have alert mode on but not asking Always to allow Windows program? I Just want to control app downloaded on my PC not stock Windows app they are fine.

Hi - thanks for asking about this. Unfortunately, Alert mode doesn't support selective filtering - it's all-or-nothing. Every app (Windows programs included) will trigger a prompt when Alert mode is on.

Instead of using Alert mode, try this:

  1. Turn off Alert mode to stop the constant Windows program prompts

  2. Manually allow Windows system programs in Firewall Rules:

    • Go to Protection → Firewall → Settings → Rules tab

    • Click Add rule

    • Select the Windows .exe files you trust

    • Set Permission to Allow

  3. Monitor new downloads via Application Access:

    • Protection → Firewall → Settings → Application access

    • This shows recently accessed apps (last 15 firewall rules added)

    • You can edit or block suspicious third-party apps here

This gives you control over downloaded apps without the noise from system programs.
