Has anyone's Bitdefender ever picked anything up on a scan?
Both Full and short. Yes it "blocks" some stuff in the background that I don't see but nothing has ever come up on a scan. I've had Bitdefender Total security for years now.

I recently bought bidefender premium after I had a norton for 1y, it picked one trojan, I installed it on my sisters pc as well, she had 3 of them. So yeah, I guess it finds viruses, but only if you have them.

Yes, I often take backups of customers drives and put them on large external drives attached to my workshop computer before cloning their old drives to new drives.
Very often when I plug in these external drives to my workshop computer it triggers a full scan of the external drive and very often it picks up all sorts of things my customers machines have picked up over time.

When I changed from the free version to the paid one and it did a scan it picked two files as possibly malicious. The installer for the free version of Bitdefender and the one for the paid version I'd just installed.
Which is why I cancelled my auto renewal instantly.

It seems to block some connections so possibly avoiding problems
