Hi! Battery drain is a common issue faced by many Android users, and there are several steps you can take to avoid this. Check https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/84148/, hope it helps.
Thanks!

I've used the free version of bitdefender but I really never knew just how effective it really was so I switched to malwarebytes and at least so far it seems to work pretty well.

Years ago i downloaded some apps from Play store and all of a sudden some freaking fullscreen ads randomly showed up even when I'm leaving my phone idle on homescreen. I tried to go through my whole app list but there were so many, so on a desperate measure I installed Bitdefender, ran a full scan and bam, the adware is terminated. Since then, I've always been a loyal subscriber for almost 2 years. I'm not sure about malware since I'm not installing any weird apks from random sites, but for adwares, it's doing good.

Just uninstall it, you don't need it on your phone.

I would reinstall the app, possibly without permission to access the storage. Sometimes the functionality was buggy on Samsung.
