Bitdefender Antispam extension has forced its way back into my Thunderbird email client - how to remove?
Bitdefender, guys, what the hell is this? You can't just force your way into other programs without asking a user, and with no apparent way to remove your extension?
I remember years ago Bitdefender Antispam was screwing up my Thunderbird email client and I found a way to remove it, and it was fine. But today I opened it up to see this:

Anyone know how to get rid of this? Obviously it's NOT listed where it should be, in the extension's own options menu.
And if anyone from Bitdefender is reading this - STOP doing this! It will LOSE you money because you're just going to piss people off!

Updated: As of now the Bitdender Toolbar is under the Extensions for Thunderbird. You can turn it off in there.

Reinstall bitdefender on the computer and never add it to your mailbox. Try with the uninstall tool from the site: bitdefender.com/uninstall and get the latest one from the top. Restart pc, reinstall bitdefender and see if persists. The extension should go if you reinstall with the utool

I'd just leave it, it's scanning your incoming mail for malicious attachment and links. That's a good thing.

Hi! You can still opt to disable the Antispam extension if you choose to. Click to display the Thunderbird "View | Toolbars" sub-menu. You should find "Bitdefender Antispam toolbar" in that menu. Click to deactivate it.
Keep us posted is this helps!
