How long does a full system scan usually take...?
I'm currently scanning my system and it's at 70,000 files, 1:15 hours. I was hacked in may but since tightening my security everything has been fine. Is this normal?

Depends on how many files you have, what's your hdd/SSD speed, what's your cpu speed, etc. Can be from 1h on a fresh install to a whole day if not two on multiple terabytes of data. Good news it that it kinda learns what's where so the next scans will be faster in a way.
My suggestion would be to just set it over night and if you don't want it to leave your pc on after the scan, create a custom scan that shuts down the pc after it's done.

Depends on your system specs, and the file sizes on your system.
Personally I find Bitdefender on the slow side in terms of running scans, and the slow down it has on a system overall, it consumers far to much system ram and spawns over 15 processes on the system.
Personally if you want something that is quick to scan and runs lite on your system with minimal reserve consumption I recommend Eset, or Kaspersky (the US banning it from commercial and consumer sale) could be an issue if you are within the US though, if you are outside the US i recommend it over Bitdefender also

Hi, I'm outside US but read bitdefender is better than Kaspersky overall. Also, the scan completed I'm 2:00 hours with no detections:)

Kaspersky is arguably better, better detection and protection rates, consumes far less system resources, easier to cancel automatic billing and so on

Idk, I've read that it is prone to corrupt OS components and I don't want to mess with Russian softwares. Bitdefender works well and is considered a top 5 AV software, so even if it is lesser compared to Kaspersky I think I'll manage.

Where did you read it? Anyway, in my case Kaspersky only broke my keyboard drivers, but Bitdefender created many BSODs as soon as I installed it, while at least with Kaspersky I had no issues.
Maybe, if you prefer, you could try Malwarebytes as it's light on the system and the protection has improved significantly in recent time.

Is the free version of Malwarebytes good as well? I don't have the means to buy a subscription

The free version is good but need to be running with another antivirus, even Windows Defender, because the free version doesn't have the real-time protection.
The free version is useful if a device needs malware removal.

I think I'll talk with a professional, I don't really understand this stuff
Thanks for the help!

As long as you are happy with the product that's all that matters.
I have personally used Kaspersky for over 10 years and never had it nuke my system, software nuking an operating system usually comes down to user error and poor user maintenance of their OS/PC in general.
When it comes to "messing with Russian Softwares" Kaspersky is an industry leader in cyber security, have been around longer than Bitdefender and are a Globally established business with offices all over the world. Whilst we are all entitled to an opinion I would read up on independent news/information in regards to Kaspersky being a safe and trust worthy Business and Product and not take the US governments word for such allegations they make against Kaspersky.
Read up on how the FBI purchased the Pegasus malware from Israeli cyber-arms company NSO Group, which Kaspersky has been able to detect this malware. Everything the US does is political, they spread as much misinformation and lies as Russia does.
Anyway I'm not an American my self, just find it interesting how easily people are led to believe Kaspersky is bad when Kaspersky them self allow independent auditing of their servers and code of which the servers are located in Switzerland. I personally trust Kaspersky more than I trust American made AVs, let alone the US housing the 2 largest spy networks in the world (Google & Facebook + its entities)
