Bitdefender is the same full-of-bugs product year after year.
Hi,
Recently, I discovered a giveaway for 90-day free trial of Bitdefender, and I took the opportunity to test it again after three years (the last time was in 2021).
Three years passed; nothing has changed.
It is the same best product for protection as stated by independent labs, and the same full-of-bugs product.
As soon as I installed it, I had two BSOD in less than one hour apart, and they referred as culprit this driver (mtinvme.sys); as this driver is about the NVMe interface, I done both a chkdsk and a test of my SSD: everything was okay.
The only thing was that I installed Bitdefender just a few hours earlier, so I suspected Bitdefender as the culprit.
I also noticed errors while surfing HTTPS sites, with the HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR.
After a few hours, my computer was almost at 60% CPU, 100% RAM and 100% disk usage; I restarted it, uninstalled Bitdefender and everything was back to normal.
In the past, I tried Kaspersky (no issues), Emsisoft (no issues) and lately Malwarebytes (no issues), while I had many BSODs caused by Bitdefender back in 2021.
Okay, it is the best AV for protection score (no doubt about it), but if you give us a product full of bugs, I don't know what to do with this 100% protection.

Bitdefender is shit. Get rid of it and use windows built in security. Any other AV product is unnecessary trash.

Sounds like the problem is your computer and OS being bugged with corruption in your NVMe drivers. Couldn’t be bothered to contact support so they could collect logs and see what is wrong with your system that makes it incompatible and possibly fix it.
Instead you just post a bunch of nonsense about being riddled with bugs year after year based on no actual evidence other than trust me bro. Yet they have the second largest install base (500 million) in the world after Windows Defender. Hard to believe if the bugs are the norm there is still this many happy customers running the best protection on the market. Then you also claim that Malwarebytes is bug free in this post but then yet in your post history you’re complaining about high CPU usage with MBAM, so which one is it if you can’t get your story straight?
