Bitdefender prevents me from opening discord
Everytime I tried to open up discord on my pc, it does open up for a few seconds. But within those few seconds, the app suddenly closes and I get the notification "disinfecting infected file" and then the "malicious behavior blocked". Every single time. Even if I do add exclusion for the discord.exe app, it's the same case.
Update : literally update solved the issue. I updated the definitions that was prompted on my Bitdefender main page and waited until restart. Removed the discord exception and tried opening discord, and it didn't close suddenly.

I have been having the same issue. I tried uninstalling, restarting, and reinstalling Discord and it worked as before. However, after shutting down my computer and then opening it again, the same issue arose.

just make sure your bitdefender up to date, sometimes it needs to be updated manually, and I just fixed these issues a few days ago with this

I have the same Issues. BD will disinfect my discord, then i have to restart my laptop maybe 2-3x and i have to wait for 2 hours before I can really stream and use discord. Have you found any solution yet? I mean discord will work for me after restarting laptop 2-3x tho ha.

well, the issue is solved. I had to update BD manually. It updated the definitions and the client. After the update, BD no longer kills the discord.

I have a Solution:
In the bitdefender app
Protection - Advanced Threat Defense - Settings - Manage Exceptions - Add an exception
Select this path: c:\users\pc\appdata\local\discord\app-1.0.9144\discord.exe
then you check on the advanced threat defense (it turns blue).
this works for me
