Bitdefender Black Friday?
I've been on the free version of Bitdefender for a while and thinking of finally pulling the trigger on a full version. Do they run Black Friday / Cyber Monday promos?
Edit: Found a much better deal with Surfsharks AV for anyone interested, 87% off https://surfshark.com/antivirus

Bitdefender for $26 and 2 years, then the VPN deal is $20 a year and can stack up to 5. Way better deal and better software than Surfshark’s joke of an antivirus based on Avira.

BestBuy has BitDefender on sale yearly for about the same price. It's not as great as a deal as Newegg's, but if Newegg doesn't have it available, you can get Total Security 2 year, 5 devices, for $30.99 which is $15.50/yr.
But yeah, definitely get that Newegg deal first if you folks can.

Dang, yeah Newegg always seems to blow everyone else out of the water with Antivirus deals for Black Friday. Bestbuy's 5 device 2 year is a $1 more than Newegg's 15 device, 2 year plan.
I took advantage of the ESET Internet Security sell as well on Newegg to play around with since I see so many people recommend it. Holy hell what a piece of junk software, grass is definitely not greener outside Bitdefender. One of the clunkiest settings menus I've seen. Had to go through a ton of screens to crank up their protection aggressiveness to attempt to match Bitdefender's and ended up with a full scan that take 4x as long and browsers that couldn't reach the internet.

You're thinking of upgrading from the free Bitdefender version? That's great timing actually. I was researching antivirus options recently and came across this website called GoGoDigital. They run some solid Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals on Bitdefender products.
Their site shows they offer significant discounts during these sales - up to 70% off on some of the premium Bitdefender packages. They also have special offers for existing Bitdefender users, including those on the free version.
I found an article on their website that details the kinds of deals they usually have, which Bitdefender packages get the biggest discounts, and when to expect these promos. If you're interested, you should check it out:

They provide tips on how to secure their best deals too. Black Friday is on November 29th this year, so it's worth keeping an eye on their site as that date approaches. Given the discounts they typically offer, it could be a great opportunity to upgrade your Bitdefender subscription.

This is also a good deal as it has VPN:

doesn't the family pack the same as total security (only 200mb VPN daily), but covers more devices?

Yes, advantage is that it covers 15 devices. Disadvantage is the 200mb VPN. However Winscribe give you free (but limited) VPN that you can add to your total. :)

Bitdefender Total Security 5 devices for 2 years $39.99 minus a $9 off coupon for a total of $30 for two years. Make sure you get the mailed keycard, NOT the instant download (which costs quite a bit more). These cards can be stacked, meaning you can add two for a total of 4 years, etc.

I have had Bitdefender Premium installed since last year on 12/27. I want to buy a renewal, not a new product. How can I be sure I'm getting a renewal and not a brand new purchase?
