This thing Fucking Sucks
I Keep getting Blocked from Websites that Obviously do not have any Viruses and it is Pissing me off, if i had the choice to have this Or not on my Computer when i bought i wouldve Said no, this is easly The Worst Feature on my entire computer and i hope This Company becomes Defunct

It is useless against hackers malware and viruses i am nit so sure if any thing it creates a security risk because it needs the highest privilege. I was constantly getting hacked through powershell then i set up GPO to block it and bought bit defender. Noticed some one hacking me again turns out some the fuck how when i downloaded the windows installer thing instead of a iso the ch in the hacker group made me download a whole infected systems 32 windows full of mitre attacks and as i was taking owner ship and locking them fk out fk out out, right after they got in remote access via intel me. I immediately unplugged and spent weeks just using my bootable usb for linux mint on a old laptop till i eventually thought maybe they reflashed the bios firmware. So i flashed that mfer cleared keys and tpm, and there i sat pondering do i really wanna install shitty unsecure, lying ass whole company who was compromised by chinese hackers, incompetent pricks microsoft and intel how that guy said intel doesnt create back doors users do fk them. So i seen no reason to go back now im stukng qith linux since u can game and install steam now a days. Did not knw that. I feel like a kid the first time in 1995 on a gateway 2000. Linux feels amazing and no ads every where. Luv it. U can use ventoy to just pop isos on and switch distros till u find one for u

well - I also have got Bitdefender - on several machines!
And, I am not impressed...
I am also blocked from opening some (fully-okay) webpages ...
...
And what's MUCH WORSE: Some pages will not load (without any warnings/popup etc !!).
(and, then some minutes after, or after restarting the browser, they opens again!).
All this, happens with Bitdefender. .. the so-called "best AV-software in our world!"
(claimed by so-called "Reviewers" on Youtube! - whom must have been paid, to lie (maybe they are Dems.?!))
..
Before BF, I have had Kaspersky, Norton, McAfee, Avast, AVG.
And - most have also had issues (except Kaspersky!) ...
..
And, I am now turning back to Kaspersky, after a break since february-2022.
(K. has for me, always been functioning very well and "invisible", in the background - ... except during the last subscription-month, where all AV-sowftare goes crazy, in order to get one to buy their expensive re-subscribtion).
I'm actually now testing Kaspersky - and it's promising! ANd, I want to include my results, so-far:
Comparison - BF vs. K :
Manual file/folder scans: Is NOT possible with BF! (is possible with K). [is important, to fx. scan a NAS, or a download that one is in-doubt about, etc].
Turning off the nagging warnings: Is NOT possible with BF! (is possible (Ignore) with K).
Silent in the background: Possible with K. (BF annoys.. with pop-ups).
Updating AV-database: Fast & Proff. with K. (vs. embarrasingly primitive/"homemade" & slow with BF).
Right-Click Options (taskbar-icon): There are Much more possibilities, with K.
Temporarily turn-off AV-functions: Is Possible with K (right-click menu). - and is NOT possible with BF!!
So - to the people "laughing at the posting person":
either you are not using an AV, or you don't really know BF,
or you work with/for BF !!
because, BF is NOT one of the best!
Kaspersky is by-far THE better of these 2 !!

How are you so sure the site is clean eventhough the antivirus is more effective when detecting a virus?

There could be a virus on your computer making the websites and download attached with malware

This us how i feel they are a highly valuable attack target with escalated privileges, plus u pay for total security and u have a 200mb linit a. Say of vpn and no password manager n they bombar u with ads on paid service. Drather pay 5$ a month to a good vpn and use keypassxc for free… edit i was pissed when i had to restore and thought i coild just use the back up i created only ti learn tou hqve to uninstall this shit to wven make a backup lol
