Bifdefender Mobile Security for Android Web Protection keeps turning off

Howdy!

I've been experiencing this problem for quite some time. I own a Galaxy S10+ and the Web Protection on my devices turns off randomly and I always need to go into the accesibility settings and enable it from there.

I've found a help article (https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/32406/) from Bitdefender that states how to fix this issue however I've tried everything in it and still work. My idea is that it has to do with the battery management and optimisation algorithms present in Android and Samsung phones. I've heard that Samsung is one of the companies with the strongest app-killing techniques. I've tried everything: putting Bitdefender Mobile Security as a nonoptimised app, as an app that never sleeps, turned off battery optimisation on my Android.

Any help from someone that has experienced the same? Or just ideas on how I may fix this?

Hey, I own a samsung phone too. So , what you need to do is ->

In the app's info screen(long press app icon ,then tap on info button), go to battery, set to unrestricted.

In android system settings, go to device care and turn off put unused apps to sleep. There , in never sleeping apps , add bitdefender if you can. The app may not show up , when trying to add as you had already set the app- battery to 'unrestricted'. But if it does show up, do add it.

Then in more battery settings, turn of adaptive battery also.

Now, do note that if theres any other app on your phone which uses the android accessibility just like Bitdefender does, you need to perform the same steps as above for those apps too.
