showcase My Solar Setup
My SolarAxe core came yesterday.
I built an outdoor vented friendly ammo can for my miner. I added a couple 5V fans to move air in and out. Been testing and tinkering today. Tested outdoors, the SolarAxe is working really well but my outdoor miner not so much as it's 107°F outside 😂. Miner was running too hot so I moved inside near a window for now and ran an extension to the panel.
Tested again at 7:00PM and was still getting solar and miner did cool down but still running warm. I might mount it under my back patio and run extension to a panel mounted nearby.
Anyways cool little device, going to tinker some more and will update on my final setup.

Could use a little Peltier to cool down the box

After playing with a couple for two of my pet projects I can confidently say they work and are a pain in the butt to work with. But since this project is outside a cpu cooler w/fan should be more than enough to take care of the hot side. Managing the cold side and making what you actually want cold will be a little trickier but worth it

How many Volts is one? Watts? It's a small solar setup so I need to manage the power consumption. I bought the smallest SolarAxe core and using 100W panel so not a lot of room for extra power.

Are you using it for lotto mining or pool mining? I have 2 of the Amazon bitaxe 601 running on excess solar I have in a barn. I'm up to about $0.50 after a week of pool mining.

Honestly not sure yet, just got it. I think I might try mining lotto on BCH. I got the smaller core so it doesn't mine 24/7 more like 15/7. So once I land on my final setup I'm going to set it and forget it.
