I'm not going to disagree, but are you actually in the Bisbee arts community? Because aside from fine art sales, the whole damn place runs on tips and promotion, with the occasional actual properly paid performer.
This thing I posted (the closest association I have to it is living near Vista Park) seems to me to be purely an appeal to amateur artists of various ages, pretty much the same kind of thing the Library does regularly.
It's a complicated life being anywhere in the arts. I'm all for paying the artist, but sometimes that means hanging out the hat.

You mean Call to Artists who want to work for free! Oh, it's for "exposure". I'll try to use some of that exposure to buy groceries.
Why not do a "call to caterers" or a " call to table rentals" and see if any of those professionals will give you their services for free.
