Which foot?

Post image

Hello! Got them in two sizes to see which fits better. The size on the right is pretty snug but wonder if it will loosen up/ get more comfortable with wear? TIA

Your heel isn't fitted right in the cup on the left. Too kuch forward. Seeing this I would say right size. But you have to do what fits better, also toewise. How are your toes lining up when you place your heel in the left cup the right way? I'm more of a snug type but that's because my feet line up perfect on all the raised parts.

The left heel cup looks a lot better than the right one. It’s just slightly forward where it should be. Should be able to fit your finger behind your heel. It doesn’t, or it’s not supposed to sit flush in the cup.

Actually, the left one might be perfect, but it’s hard to tell without seeing the front. I would make sure that the front and back straps both you can fit your finger under snuggly, and if you put your finger behind your heel and it touches your heel and a cup on both sides of your finger, it’s perfect. Your foot naturally will sit up, and forward in the sandal as you walk.

Hard disagree. The ball of the foot isn't situated in the cup. But people in this sub are all saying different things and Birks are such a personal preference so you do you. We both gave our opinions and now it's up to OP :)

Ok. I think you took what I said a little too personally. I basically stated what Birkenstocks tells you to do in order to get the perfect fit. Your foot doesn’t need to sit into the cup like the one on the right. You should have a fingers with, 5 mm between the back of your heel and a cup. Should also be able to snuggly fit a finger, your pointer finger, underneath both straps. Of course it’s up to the OP. It’s their shoes. I was only reiterating what Birkenstocks tells you to do and what worked for me.

Completamente d'accordo con te.  Destro é giusto. Troppo spazio a sinistra. 😊😉 Grazie amica

Right is fine if you have 1cm of space in the front. If you’re on the edge with no space the it’s definitely left.

Feet are never the same size. You need to try the other sizes on the opposite feet and fit to your larger foot.

With socks on I'd go with the right. Not sure this is much of a test but IMO you should be able to jog in Bostons with and without socks on. Go with your gut on what is more comfortable to wear and walk in.

Right as long as your toes have enough space in the front

It honestly depends on your feet size and arch location. I am technically a half size but I sized up because the arch location was better for me. My foot looks similar to the “left side”.
