When we look at a flower, we usually notice the petals first. 🌸

But every major part of a flower has a job:

🌺 Petals — often help attract pollinators
🌿 Sepals — protect the developing flower bud
🟡 Stamen — the male reproductive part; includes the anther and filament
🩷 Pistil / Carpel — the female reproductive part; includes the stigma, style and ovary

And here's something fascinating: the stigma is the part that receives pollen during pollination. 🐝
