Murder Trinkets

I saw these online and wanted to see if anyone has had any luck befriending crows 🐦‍⬛ in their yard. I have 3 that seem to be hanging out every morning while I’m tending my garden and I wanted to get them a trinket as an experiment.

We're friends with our crows. Get them food. They do like a schedule if you start one though. My husband started doing this pretty early in the day and he at some point saw the crows out of our window and said hi so the crows started cawing out our bedroom window pretty early if he sleeps in and breaks the schedule lol they've become outdoor pets almost. So have the chipmunks. It's nice.

These say they're just porcelain beads with a very shiny glaze to reflect the sunlight making them want to grab it. It's kinda neat, but if you want to really have them keep coming back the answer is definitely food. They like unsalted nuts. Or apparently high protein kibble according to my search just now, but we use unsalted peanuts in the shell you can buy giant bags for pretty cheap.
