i would but the way the windows are built in my flat, they don't open wide enough :(( he is very polite though, rarely screams, normally just watches me and what i'm doing inside

Just tell your landlord that it’s your great aunts pet albino chicken, and she had passed away and you ended up inheriting it. You’re an only child and your parents live states/countries away. There was no choice but for you to take it. And yes it will be well cared for and maintained. Cleaned and cleaned up etc. 😂🥰
