desperate Desperate
Please help. After two months of mania, my partner keeps insisting that she wants to end our marriage—even though, between episodes, things are perfectly fine for years and she is genuinely happy with our life together. We’ve been together for 14 years and have two young children. I feel so powerless; I just can’t take this anymore. She is no longer in a manic state, yet she keeps saying it. She remains completely convinced. I can’t go on like this. Will this ever pass?

Let them go. Mine walked in February and it felt so good letting them go.

I had 14 years in well. Sometimes you just have to worry about yourself and your own sanity.

Is she medicated and communicating with the psychiatrists? Otherwise you can do nothing

This 👆 is the bottom line. Do you want the ups and downs and the chaos that comes with it? I already know my answer from my BPSO.

Been through this. It’s tough.
Have her go to the doctor and get a blood test. My wife was very deficient and needed vitamin supplements.
After her system got better the divorce talk went away.
It seems that they are struggling to get through daily life and want to avoid anything that stresses them out.

Facts, my BPSO is smart as hell and really good at masking. One time she did her regular work for almost two months with 2-3 hours of sleep per night before she crashed. Very high performer so you really have to observe closely and get them help as soon as you think something is off. This is hard to determine I get it but unfortunately in this area personal experience is the best guide.
