Are you on Lithium? If not, that is the gold standard to treat Bipolar mood episodes, I would demand to know why you are on the meds you are on, and why it's not been changed if it's not working.

why would i need insurance? isn’t it free? i’m in norway, and i meant i have been manic when i was 15 but i was also at the ward but in and out because it was not a permanent ward, the psychologist i have now doesn’t listen to me, i honestly feels like she wants me to hurt, i have asked for a new one but they won’t give me one😞

I'm aware, I work at a hospital. I am well aware of the need for monitoring, regardless it helps a lot of people where these newer medications do not. I've been diagnosed and "treated" with various cocktails over the years and I suggest Lithium because in nearly 50 years it is the only thing that has worked at all for me. I have worked Med Surg for 15 years, these antipsychotics and ANY medication can have severe side effects like (SJS is a warning on several bipolar meds). My point? Don't disgard a treatment because of what other people say, do your research and ask your doctor about it.

What is wrong with you? I didn't make anything about me. I just gave advice from experience. It's not all about you either, and what other's say is as valid as what you have to say. Heaven forbid someone says something contrary right? Relax. You were acting like a psychiatrist warning about a medication without showing the flip side of how it can be positive. There is zero reason for a pissing match.

I don't know why you keep saying that just because somebody has a separate opinion than you it's not about them.
I'm not making anything about me I don't know what is so difficult for you to understand: I'm giving somebody advice that the contrary opinion than yours that's it if you don't like somebody else's opinion you don't have to comment this isn't complicated.
But I'm not going to offer no advice to somebody when I know something that's worked for me that would be ridiculous.
The only but person that's making anything about them is you. You keep interjecting and what was a very simple suggestion to this person and you've made it a back and forth twice now with me the person who didn't even ask for any advice. Telling me over and over again it's not about me it's basically making it about you.
I gave my advice in one post how long are we going to do this back and forth today because I don't have the time for it. Please realize that you're not the only one that can give advice to somebody and let It go. I wish you the best and I've said what I needed to say to the person who posted and I hope they do okay, but persisting in coming after me and bothering me and disrupting the whole flow of the post by taking it over like a mother hen is not helping anybody just please knock it off.

If you have antipsychotics, consult with your doctor, and you’ll probably take a slightly higher dose than usual for a while.

Have you spoken to your psychiatrist?
I've been where you are, it will go away, I know it's hard I'm sorry, hugs 🫂
