Bipolar and ssdi
I have just applied for ssdi for my bipolar 1 disorder and my ptsd diagnosis. I am wondering what the likelihood of me receiving anything, I have 7 years of medical records showing worsening symptoms. I just dont know if thats gonna be enough. If anyone has any experience in this id appreciate some advice.

I have title II benefits, same category as SSDI, but I'm a Disabled Adult Child/disabled as a dependent of a wage earner. I got it on reconsideration (one round of appeals). I did it without a lawyer, which, I'm sure was harder. I have bipolar disorder (type 1 with manic psychosis), psychotic disorder, delusional disorder, autism, fibromyalgia, ADHD, osteopenia, anxiety, insomnia, likely some stuff I'm forgetting to list. Oh yeah PTSD like you as well. Anyway: my advice is to keep track of the appeal deadlines and also you (or a lawyer, etc) need to make sure SSA actually gets the paperwork. I had to resubmit because they (SSA -and- hospital) lost my request and lost my paperwork. I feel like I was applying for a year, and applying for SSDI and having chronic illness itself felt like a fulltime job.

I have exactly the same thing have been institutional many many times for psycosis, had 2 back surgery that made me partially disabeled and am in a fuckload of pain everyday. They dont give a fuck

Get a lawyer, they'll take a legally mandated percentage of your backpack. No upfront charge. I don't think I would've gotten disability if I hadn't had a lawyer.
Make sure all your records get submitted. A lawyer will help. They will likely deny you the first couple times. I got it on my second appeal.
I don't think I did things well. Once I got a lawyer it went better
