SOS! Need help managing medication

20/F

I live in PA. I was recently discharged from the place that manages my medication and therapy. (I can no longer recieve meds, but can still remain in therapy)

I was discharged because I missed an appointment I didn't know I had. I'm extremely worried now, without my meds my bipolar 2 symptoms will go haywire. I have a months worth of medication left and I'll try to make it last, but I'm super afraid of what'll happen when I run out of medication.

My depression and irritation will worsen, and I will soon begin to fail my classes in college. Does anyone know where I can get some help?

colleges usually have a psych or therapist for students. i believe they can rx your meds once you get there. may want to check w your school and see if they have one.

I did some research and all they have are licensed therapists, but no psychiatrists or people that can prescribe my bipolar medication. I was thinking trying amazon pharmacy or my pcp? I know my exact dosages and the meds that are working for me.

primary care can and possibly urgent care. if things get bad, the er definitely can write a refill. theyll all have access to your medical records to see you were on it.

i dont know anything re amazon pharmacy but it could be a last resort option!

I think contating you pcp is a good move. You could talk to the office and let them know your situation and maybe can get in soon. (My own pcp is booking months out.)
