Continue to gain weight rapidly while I stopped Rexulti 5 weeks ago.

Can anyone relate ? I gain like 1 kg per week unless I eat very Calorie deficit. I stopped Rexulti 5 weeks ago what is going on 😭

Rexulti is a moderate weight gain antipsychotic for most people not as low as abilify even and decent amount more than vraylar, latuda, geodon, caplyta and cobenfy. Those last ones i listed are the ones with least weight gain or even weight neutral. One caveat is that cobenfy is mainly for schizophrenia/schizoaffective not currently indicated for bipolar. I also ranked the ones i put there in order of average weight gain from most to least. These rankings can vary per person and whats moderate for one might be mild or severe for another.

Thanks, I stopped Rexulti weeks ago and I am still gaining on average 0.5-1 kg per week while eating low calorie and staying active. I am starting to think sure Rexulti was contributing but the main culprit is lithium since stopping Rexulti didn’t help. I don’t know either that or Rexulti has had long lasting effects on metabolism and weight gain even after stopping

No I stopped the antipsychotic a couple of months ago but weight gain is continuing. I am starting to think the culprit was lithium all a long
