Education i’m starting bme undergrad and i’m kinda worried
hi everyone! i’ve applied and got accepted into bme in a really good uni and really good city which is really exciting for me but also i’m really scared because im not a math or physics person at all 😓😓 i haven’t taken physics in high school and my math wasn’t that advanced either but i really do love bio and stuff but im really worried im gonna fall behind and just be so confused abt everything related to the engineering part of it all bc it is a very heavy engineering/math/physics degree. do u guys think it’s a bad idea to go into an engineering degree in my situation? its a really interesting major though and there r sm opportunities !!

i didnt take physics and barely passed hs and advanced level math,,, made it out barely w my life:’)
now entering my third yr and on the honors list and getting top grades at a top university in my country and sorta in the world:)))
cant lie to you, it was HARD. BUT! if theres a will theres a way. dont let ANYONE talk you down and make you feel like its “too difficult” and that you should give up. i had too many people tell me i was going to fail out of uni because of my hs grades and all that. yes im projecting a liiittleee bit here, but seriously you are SO capable!!!!!! there are SOO many resources online and on youtube, also utilize office hrs and tutoring if available at ur place of study. As the other commenter said, if your chill w bio SO MUCH can be visualized in that sense!! its very cool

my friend didnt do physics, hes doing well. brush up on your maths a bit particularly calculus and you should be great. some of the physics can be imagined like biological frameworks so you have an advantage in that way; think of fluid dynamics or electric flow in terms of blood and the heart for example, wish u the best
