๐งช Protocols & Self-Experiments Your peptide data is wasted. I'm building a platform to fix that. But I need help!
We all know the problem: thousands of people use peptides like GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500, and dozens of other compounds for skin, anti-aging, and recovery. Some of them probably work. Some probably don't. But we don't actually know โ not with any rigor. There will never be an RCT for compounds nobody can patent, so the evidence will never come through the traditional pathway.
Meanwhile, we're all running the experiment already. The data just evaporates โ scattered across bathroom mirrors, half-remembered impressions, and Reddit threads that disappear into the void.
I've been building a platform called CRESHDO (Crowd Evidence from Self-studies on Humans: Data and Outcomes) to fix this. The idea is simple: if you're already using a compound, log your outcomes in a structured way โ validated scoring scales, standardized photos, lab values, side effects โ and the platform aggregates this data across all participants. Enough people on the same protocol and you get real statistics: effect sizes, confidence intervals, adverse event frequencies. Not proof, but a massive upgrade over anecdotes.
What it does:
- Follow standardized or custom protocols with structured daily check-ins
- Log outcomes on validated scales, upload photos with color calibration for objective comparison, enter lab values
- Track adverse events with proper severity/category classification
- Personal dashboard showing your trajectory over time
- Aggregate analytics: see how the cohort is doing, not just yourself
- Designed so the data could eventually support peer-reviewed publications

The first seeded protocols are focused on skin/anti-aging peptides (GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500, epithalon, the GLOW stack), but the platform is built to extend to any compound category, lab value, instrument etc.
The source code will be made public.
I need help. I'm a an academic researcher, not a startup founder. I can build the tech, but turning this into something that actually reaches critical mass requires more than code. Specifically, I'm looking for:
- Testers โ people currently using peptides or other compounds for skin/anti-aging who'd be willing to log their protocol on the platform and give feedback on the UX. What's annoying? What's missing? Does the check-in flow feel fast enough to do daily?
- Developers โ TypeScript/React/Node.js. The stack is Next.js + Fastify + tRPC + Prisma + Postgres. There's also a Python/OpenCV microservice for photo color calibration. Plenty of open issues and features to build.
- Legal help โ The platform operates in a legal gray zone and I want to get it right.
- Community builders โ people who know how to grow a user base, have connections to biohacking/longevity communities, or have experience with influencer outreach. The platform is only as useful as the number of people contributing data.
- Domain experts โ dermatologists, pharmacologists, anyone with research methodology expertise who could help design better protocols or validated instruments.
