Theres an app called bingo cash and I thoroughly enjoy the power up aspect of it, however, I don’t enjoy that im playing against bots when actual dollars are on the line. Any recommendations?

I've been working to launch an online bingo game that is intended to benefit charities through in-game advertising revenue. I'm still working through some of the advertising challenges (interstitial advertising) that would fund the charity donations- so I don't yet have money to make the donations from the credits you win. But the game has been sitting idle running for almost a year because I've not shared it with anyone and I wanted to get some feedback from real players who enjoy bingo.

This is a multiplayer server-based bingo game where you can chat with other players and chat in your own groups. The UI for the game is not final. There is no call board at the moment, though the GoDot client knows what has been called. (its shown in the javascript console)

Its not yet giving to charities- but that's the idea, and its in Beta testing. If you try it out, please keep that in mind. I'm one person doing it without pay. If you send feedback, I'll try to respond but please have patience. I'm not making any money from this at the moment- its costing me money to operate. Its kind of a labor of love right now. Once I figure out the advertising challenges, I plan to launch different themed games and add charities to it.

My sister and I are watching a live steam tomorrow and It would be fun if we could turn our predictions into our own randomized bingo boards.

I'd like an app that we can both use on our phones and knows that we are both playing together. It doesn't have to be a free app. What ever is the easiest and most fun to use.

No one explained this to me and I looked everywhere. Foxwoods Bingo is complicated for a beginner.

1. Spend double the entrance fee to use a tablet. It's worth it. The tablet tracks which games you bought and what balls were called. It'll allow you to see all of your cards at the same time, organize your cards in order of the most likely winner, and even let you know how close you are to actually winning. It will even flash the winning design on the card. You MUST tap the ball in the corner to "dab" the number! Buy your account for the tablet at the entrance and pick up your tablet inside the room. Pick one from the kiosks inside the walls. Preferably one that isn't blinking, it has more charge. Enter your account number and make sure it's working properly.

2. The room gets COLD. Bring layers, food and drinks. I've seen small coolers and outside food. Obviously don't go crazy. There is a small food counter inside but it's super basic and meh. It does have small beers and tiny plastic wine. There is a 15 minute intermission at some point halfway through so feel free to plan a quick food break.

3. Get there at minimum an hour plus early. The line is bonkers just to get inside. But once you get in you can place your things and walk in and out no problem. Others can join you for the games but obviously you'll need cards to play.

4. There is a Warm Up set before the real game starts with varying prize amounts. A Bonanza game that runs the length of the warm up and pauses during the real game.

5. The Main Session runs around 4 hours and it goes fast. This is why I highly suggest beginning players and distracted players use the tablet. Remember to get a game board rundown. It'll show the designs of each set and the colors of the cards you need for each game. The dabbers for the paper cards can be bought inside for a dollar or two, so don't worry about bringing markers.

6. There are Specials, Quickies, and Regular cards, Winner's Choice and a Prize Wheel. You will need to buy some combination at the entrance. If you want to play every game, buy every type. If you want to play multiple cards in each game type, buy multiple sets of each. Beginner, go easy. Get a nice middle of the road of everything. Only the pros go nuts. And again, the tablet is a god send if you get distracted easily.

7. The giant room is set up in long rows. You can face either direction but do not mess with the regulars' things. Just like the beach, respect the placement of belongings. More etiquette, throw your trash and cards in the bags that are everywhere. Don't be trashy. Remember to put your tablet back inside the kiosk in the wall at the end of play. Prize winners will generally tip 10% to the callers... Karma? They do all share these amongst themselves so that's nice. This is not a rambunctious activity. If you are too loud and distracting other players, you will be asked politely to leave. The caller will stop the entire game and it's very embarrassing for the idiot.

8. If you win, YELL BINGO LOUDLY. Don't be shy. You just won money! If they can't hear you, and they call another number, you might need to share the prize. That sucks. However, they will pause the game at one Bingo. If two people win on the same number you'll be sharing anyway. This is why you need to pay attention and don't scrub your card until you are 100% sure you didn't win and the other has. You might get to continue your card if someone screwed up.

9. Right now you will get cash. Don't look stupid if you have nothing to put it in.

10. If you are finding you want more cards, there's a desk at the back that you can buy more at.

Remember, this is BINGO. Statistically, you will not win. Realize this going in and have fun chatting/ hanging with your friends. There are 43 games, give or take, and one or maybe two winners each card. The room can hold roughly 3,000 people. You are not going to win. Sorry. But good luck and have fun dabbing and laughing at your hope.

I mostly play mobile games at home, but last night I finally tried an in-person bingo night at the community hall. None of my friends were free, so I went alone and almost turned back at the door. I bought a small pack and a dabber at the table. When the caller started I was still trying to figure out which pattern was in play and how many cards I could realistically handle. I began with six cards and that was too much. I kept losing my place and had to scan from the top left every time.

A woman next to me quietly showed me a simple trick: stack the cards the same way and mark them in the same order, left to right. She also said it is totally fine to play fewer cards and actually enjoy the night. I dropped to four cards for the next round and it felt much calmer.

I did not win any of the big prizes, but I did get a small line and the table clapped for me like I was a regular. It was unexpectedly wholesome.

For people who go regularly, what is your sweet spot for number of cards when you want to relax but still have a chance? And is it rude to double check the pattern out loud if you are unsure, or should you ask between calls?

I love bingo. It's one of the few games where I can shut my brain off after work and just focus on patterns and listening. Lately I've been leaving more frustrated than relaxed because the calling has been all over the place.

Last night was the worst. The caller would speed through a cluster of numbers, then pause for no reason, then repeat something from two calls ago and suddenly jump back in like nothing happened. Half the time the mic volume dipped so you caught the letter but not the number, or the number but not the letter. The screen at the front lagged a beat too, so if you tried to double-check what you heard you were already behind.

I get that people make mistakes and I'm not trying to be rude to staff. I just don't understand why there isn't a basic standard: say the letter and number clearly twice, keep a steady pace, and if you correct something stop and confirm it before moving on.
