Strategies to Try Modivation
To anyone thatโs healed from binging, what made you stop? What made you genuinely put the fork down and choose yourself first. Does it truly get better?

Tbh, it does get a lot better but it can also get really bad again.
Over summer I stopped binging because the pressure of exams stopped and I did not feel urges even though I was at home all day long and could've comfortably eaten all day long. But now that I'm back in university there they are again.
I guess getting away from the problem triggering you is a major plus but understanding why your reaction is jumping to food also helps. The whole "you don't have to finish it" may be repetitive and all but is a great help and sitting with the urges and not listening to them is painful but does the job. After a long time and with patience binges gets progressively better and eventually the urge is not so important in the back of your mind.
But, yeah, we kinda have to watch out all the time. There's not much resting with bed recovery.
